Langevin 251A Restoration

Langevin 251A Restoration
I have had these two Langevin 251A program EQs for decades sitting in a box of dead gear. I picked them up from a studio in Hollywood dirt cheap about 24 years ago. They were in pretty rough shape, the covers were missing along with the freq selector knobs and one of the units was missing the machined aluminum pieces that hold the wipers to the traces on the side of the unit rendering it pretty much useless. Tonerite, science or alchemy?

Tonerite, science or alchemy?
I purchased a guitar tonerite a few weeks ago to see if the device lived up to the hype. I have so many acoustics that sit in cases for long periods of time, I thought it would be nice to keep them all ready to go and "played in". About a year ago my buddy found this old Marantz Quad receiver in the garbage in the hills of Highland Park CA. You bet I dropped everything and drove over to grab it. Best part, it was in 100% working order, just a little dirty.I replaced all the lamps and cleaned all the pots and switches. It now functions as new. In stereo mode it's a whopping 125 watts per channel of clean warm Marantz power! I will put it up against anything under 2500 bucks made...
